Nachdem ich nun etwas länger nichts mehr gepostet habe (Familie und Sonne brauchten meine vermehrte Aufmerksamkeit…), fallen mir gerade die ganzen Traxxas E Revo und Slash VXL mit Baja beetle Karosserien ins Auge. Ich fand sie am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftg, mitlerweile finde ich die kleinen Kugeln aber recht witzig, `Bug` ist finde ich das richtige Wort. Ich weiss nicht warum, aber mit dem Mini E Revo kriege ich ständig von Fussgängern die Bemerkung, das sie dachten es sei ein Eichhörnchen. Ob sie bei einer Beatle Karo denken, da flitzt ein Überdimensinierter Käfer?

Traxxas Slash auf BMX Track mit Beetle Body!
Here’s a video of my Slash with Proline Baja Bug shell and Proline switch tires jumping around a BMX track in Erftstadt, Germany. Video taken by my girlfiend. Picture and sound quality is far from perfect due to my crappy old photocamera. The Slash is equipped with a EZrun 12T/60A motor/esc combo powered by 2S2P Lipo.
